Location: Plano, Texas (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Production Support Engineer to manage the day-to-day operations of our technology platform. This role involves running and maintaining Workday HCM and other integrated modules, identifying and resolving production issues, and ensuring the stability and performance of critical systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production support, a strong understanding of Workday, and the ability to collaborate with various technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support for Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Security, and VNDLY.
- Manage and troubleshoot Workday Studio, EIBs, web services, and APIs.
- Identify production failures, create incident tickets, and communicate with development and business operations teams.
- Perform analysis, research, and resolution of escalations using advanced query and programming skills.
- Configure and update Workday business processes based on organizational changes and compliance requirements.
- Administer Workday security, including user access control and role-based security assignments.
- Assist in the testing and deployment of Workday updates, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with HR, finance teams, vendors, and internal support teams to address functional and technical issues.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of IT experience in production support.
Technical Skills:- Experience with Workday HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management) and configuration.
- Basic knowledge of database concepts and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Remedy or Jira.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT experience in production support related to Workday modules.
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting business process issues, security access problems, and data inconsistencies in Workday.
- Proficiency with Splunk, Dynatrace, JIRA, and ITSM Remedy.
- Understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
