Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior License Configuration Support Specialist to support enterprise software license management, entitlement tracking, and compliance activities across a large, complex IT environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring software assets are accurately documented, compliant with vendor agreements, and optimized for cost and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is detail?oriented, process?driven, and comfortable working across IT, procurement, vendors, and audit teams.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate software license entitlement records across thousands of titles within enterprise asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, OpenIT).
Support license compliance and audit activities, including documentation validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
Coordinate with software vendors, procurement, and internal IT teams to resolve licensing discrepancies and usage issues.
Assist in license optimization initiatives by identifying under?utilized or non?compliant software assets.
Process license requests, renewals, and true?ups in accordance with internal policies and vendor agreements.
Support ServiceNow workflows for license tickets, approvals, and reporting.
Partner with infrastructure, endpoint, and virtualization teams (VMware, Citrix, SCCM) to validate deployments against entitlements.
Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives for software asset management.
