RPA UiPath Support Engineer

Remote (California)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
  3 6 years of hands-on experience supporting UiPath-based RPA solutions in production environments
  Strong experience with UiPath Orchestrator, including job scheduling, queue management, asset management, and log analysis
  Working knowledge of UiPath REFramework, exception handling, retry mechanisms, and recovery logic
  Experience supporting automations integrated with ServiceNow, Active Directory, Okta, OFAS, and vendor portals
  Proficiency in PowerShell, SQL, and basic JSON/XML for troubleshooting, reporting, and data validation
  Familiarity with UiPath Action Center, Insights, Integration Service, Maestro, and Data Fabric
  Understanding of public-sector security, access controls, audit logging, and compliance requirements
  UiPath Advanced RPA Developer Certification (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 operational support for UiPath automations, including incident triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution
  Monitor bot health, job execution, queues, logs, and alerts via UiPath Orchestrator to ensure 99% availability and SLA compliance
  Perform production issue troubleshooting, including handling system exceptions, business exceptions, and infrastructure-related failures
  Support bot restarts, job recovery, and configuration changes in coordination with release and change-management processes
  Assist in UiPath platform upgrades, patching, regression testing, and validation in non-production environments prior to release
  Maintain and update runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge articles to support long-term maintainability
  Coordinate with RPA Developers, Solution Architects, and County IT teams to resolve cross-system issues (ServiceNow, OFAS, AD, Okta, vendor portals)
  Track incidents, escalations, and resolutions using ITSM tools and provide daily/weekly operational reports and dashboards
  Ensure all automations adhere to security, privacy, audit, and access-control standards, including proper credential handling
  Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending design or framework enhancements
