Summary
Title: Physical Design Engineer (UPF)
Duration: 3-4 months
Location: Remote – May need to accommodate some calls with Europe
Work Schedule: M-F, 40 hours a week
Start Date: 9/21
Project Details:
Perform Netlist-to-GDS Physical Design including Place-and-Route, Extraction, STA, Timing/SI/Power/EM/IR analysis & closure and Physical Design Verification (LVS/DRC)
Proficiency in using Synopsys tool suites (DC, PT, ICC2) and Calibre for physical verification
Adequate programing/scripting skills in Perl/TCL/Shell
growing die on a legacy product. Doubling the Y-dimension for SRAM, MVM , and ethernet additions.
Musts:
Physical Design using Synopsys tool suite- DC/PT/ICC2. Needs to know ICC2.
UPF design / UPF power domain knowledge
Place and route expertise. (internal teams will handle most of the STA)
TCL / Perl scripting
Pluses:
programming and scripting skills in Shell
NLIB generation in Fusion complier/ICC2
40nm embedded flash projects
EM/IR analysis
