Position's General Duties and Tasks

In these roles you will be responsible for:

  • What specifically will this person be doing? (5-6 bullet points that highlight the most important responsibilities
  • Lead the CMDB and Configuration Management service, ensuring accurate, complete, and reliable configuration data to support ITSM processes, service delivery, and operational decision-making.
  • Manage complex CMDB-related service delivery activities, including data quality, CI lifecycle governance, relationship mapping, process adherence, and ongoing operational support.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with ServiceNow, infrastructure, application, security, and service management teams to improve CMDB maturity and align configuration practices to ITIL standards.
  • Establish and maintain CMDB governance, standards, controls, and reporting to support audit readiness, compliance, service transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex CMDB process or data issues, using structured problem-solving and collaboration across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement of CMDB processes, documentation, dashboards, and service configuration practices to improve accuracy, automation, and business value.
  • Requirements for this role include:
  • Leads complex service delivery processes and associated projects.
  • Manages service delivery processes in a complex service delivery environment.
  • Develops resolutions and analysis to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity.
  • Identifies and leads continuous improvement activities in support of client or internal business processes.
  • They may lead or guide others on cross-functional projects outside of their own department.

Typically requires 10+ years relevant experience.

  • Preferences:  - Optional (nice-to-have’s)
  • Excellent understanding of ITIL processes and principals.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent ability to create and document process.
  • On-call rotation support may be required.
