Job Title: Data Architect 1(AR1)

Position is full-time remote.
Interviews will be via Microsoft Teams
- Develop and maintain enterprise data models, schemas, and standards.
- Define data flows and integration patterns between systems, including cloud-native platforms such as Snowflake.
- Oversee logical and physical database design for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with DBAs on optimization, capacity planning, and Snowflake performance management.
- Establish data quality, security, and compliance standards.
- Implement metadata management and maintain a data dictionary.
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data warehousing and analytics, with hands-on experience using Snowflake’s ingestion and transformation capabilities.
- Ensure interoperability between on-prem and cloud systems.
- Work with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
- Provide guidance on data modeling best practices.
- Ensure data architecture meets performance SLAs and security requirements.
- Implement encryption, access controls, and audit mechanisms across both traditional DBMS and Snowflake environments.
- Evaluate emerging technologies (cloud, big data, AI/ML) for adoption.
- Recommend improvements to existing data architecture, including Snowflake optimization and new cloud capabilities.
- Experience in data architecture, database design, and data modeling
- Experience in SQL Server/Oracle or similar RDBMS
- Experience with Cloud Platforms(Azure, AWS)
- Experience with ETL tools, API's and integration framework
- Expertise with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
