SAP MM Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP MM Consultant with 12+ years of expertise in Materials Management to lead SAP MM implementations, rollouts, and support activities. The role requires strong functional knowledge, business process expertise, stakeholder management, and the ability to lead solution design across complex SAP landscapes (ECC and/or S/4HANA).

Key Responsibilities

SAP MM Functional Leadership

• Lead end-to-end SAP MM implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects

• Own MM processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Master, Invoice Verification, and Pricing

• Act as the MM solution architect, ensuring best practices and scalable designs

Configuration & Customization

• Configure SAP MM modules:

  • Purchasing (PR, PO, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements)

  • Inventory Management (Goods Receipt/Issue, Stock Transfers)

  • Valuation & Account Determination

  • Release Strategies for PR/PO

• Work closely with ABAP teams on enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and reports

Business & Stakeholder Management

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions

• Provide strategic guidance to business leaders on process optimization and SAP capabilities

• Lead workshops, blueprinting sessions, and design reviews

Integration & Cross-Functional Work

• Strong integration experience with:

  • FI (GR/IR, Account Determination, Invoice Posting)

  • SD (Third-party sales, STOs)

  • PP (Material planning, consumption)

  • WM/EWM (Warehouse processes)

• Collaborate with technical, functional, and third-party teams

S/4HANA & Innovation

• Lead or contribute to SAP S/4HANA implementations or conversions

• Experience with:

  • Fiori apps for MM

  • Simplified data model and business partner concept

  • MRP and inventory optimizations in S/4
