Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer with 12+ years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ETL tools, data warehousing concepts, and large-scale data processing, along with the ability to lead complex data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration from multiple sources.
• Build and optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop and manage data warehouse solutions (data marts, OLAP systems).
• Ensure data quality, validation, and integrity across systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and bottlenecks.
• Implement data transformation logic and complex mappings.
• Monitor ETL jobs and ensure timely data delivery.
• Lead ETL design reviews and enforce best practices and standards.
• Mentor junior developers and guide technical teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

• 12+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
• Strong experience with large-scale enterprise data systems.

ETL Tools & Technologies

• Hands-on experience with one or more:
  • Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud (IICS)
  • Talend
  • IBM DataStage
  • Microsoft SSIS
• Strong knowledge of ETL frameworks and best practices

Programming & Querying

• Advanced SQL skills (query optimization, stored procedures)
• Experience with Python / Shell scripting for automation

Data Warehousing

• Strong understanding of:
  • Data modeling (Star & Snowflake schemas)
  • Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)
  • Fact & dimension tables
• Experience with data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, Teradata, etc.

Databases

• Expertise in relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus

Cloud & Big Data (Preferred)

• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform
• Exposure to big data tools:
  • Apache Spark
  • Hadoop ecosystem
• Experience with modern ELT tools (dbt, Glue, Azure Data Factory)

Data Governance & Quality

• Understanding of:
  • Data lineage and metadata management
  • Data validation and reconciliation techniques
  • Data security and compliance

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication with cross-functional teams
• Ability to lead and mentor teams
• Strong attention to detail

Education

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
