We are seeking a AWS Engineer to design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain secure cloud-native applications supporting enterprise data access, analytics, visualization, and mission operations.
The developer will work closely with data engineers, architects, cybersecurity personnel, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, scalable, user-centered applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop secure, scalable web applications and cloud-native services.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Build modern, responsive web-based user interfaces.
- Integrate applications with enterprise data platforms, databases, APIs, and external services.
- Develop dashboards, analytics interfaces, and data visualization capabilities.
- Support development of AI-enabled application interfaces, when required.
- Participate in requirements gathering and translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop automated unit, integration, regression, and functional testing.
- Implement DevSecOps practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate security testing into application development and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, accessibility, and enterprise architecture requirements.
- Troubleshoot production application issues.
- Perform application enhancements and sustainment.
- Develop application design documents, API specifications, test plans, release packages, and user guides.
