Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Developer with strong Healthcare domain experience to design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in healthcare data processing, predictive analytics, NLP, model development, and cloud-based AI platforms. This role involves collaborating with data engineers, clinicians, product teams, and business stakeholders to build intelligent healthcare applications that improve operational efficiency, patient outcomes, and decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for healthcare applications including predictive analytics, clinical decision support, patient risk scoring, and automation workflows.
  • Build and optimize machine learning pipelines using structured and unstructured healthcare datasets.
  • Work with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, and EHR/EMR systems.
  • Develop NLP solutions for clinical notes, patient records, and medical documentation processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into AI/ML solutions.
  • Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and performance tuning.
  • Implement scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop APIs and integrate ML models into enterprise healthcare applications.
  • Monitor model performance, drift detection, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, and security standards.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Create technical documentation, model explainability reports, and deployment guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development and data science projects.
  • Strong experience in Healthcare domain projects.
  • Hands-on expertise in Python and ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or XGBoost.
  • Experience working with healthcare datasets, EHR/EMR systems, and healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, NLP, and predictive analytics.
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, and ETL pipelines.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with MLOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for ML deployment.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare security practices.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Generative AI / LLM applications in healthcare.
  • Familiarity with healthcare claims, payer/provider systems, or clinical analytics.
  • Experience with AWS SageMaker, Databricks, or Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of AI governance and model explainability frameworks.
  • Exposure to FHIR APIs and healthcare interoperability solutions.
  • Certifications in AI/ML, Cloud, or Healthcare Analytics preferred.
