The Platform & Infrastructure Architect (PIA) will lead the architecture, design, and modernization of infrastructure automation platforms and server lifecycle workflows. This role spans discovery, target state definition, roadmap creation, detailed design, implementation oversight, go live support, and long term platform evolution. The PIA partners with SMEs, operations teams, and leadership under the program RACI framework.
Architect internal "Developer Platforms" using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi) to enable self service.
Oversee the design of container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/EKS/AKS) and service meshes.
Standardize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for seamless code to cloud delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Discovery & Assessment
Lead inâ€`person discovery workshops across provisioning, patching, compliance, workflows, integrations, and platform
Collect and validate evidence across tools, scripts, environments, integrations, and workflows.
Assess platform health and operational maturity, including Client OO and ServiceNow.
Identify gaps related to reliability, performance, manual effort, and risk.
Architecture & Design
Define target state architecture for server lifecycle automation (provisioning, patching, compliance, reporting).
Architect automation and integration layers, orchestration engines, data flows, observability, and governance.
Establish architectural principles, standards, and decision logs.
Roadmap & Strategic Planning
Develop multiâ€`year modernization roadmap aligned to maturity assessments
Prioritize highâ€`value improvements and sequence capability rollout
Implementation Leadership
Produce detailed design deliverables for workflows, APIs, integrations, orchestration, and platform components.
Guide engineering teams and review designs, scripts, orchestrations, and release artifacts.
Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and performance expectations.
GoLive & Operationalization
Validate readiness for platform releases and automation workflows.
Support production goâ€`live, troubleshoot, and verify service performance.
Oversee hyper care and ensure transition to steady state support.
