IT Business Systems Analyst

Introduction

We are hiring an IT Business Systems Analyst to work between business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze requirements, improve business processes, and support technology solutions. The role involves requirements gathering, systems analysis, documentation, testing, and coordination across business and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business and system requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and technology needs.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Create business requirements documents, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, project managers, and business stakeholders.
• Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support application testing and user acceptance testing.
• Track requirements and assist with issue resolution.
• Participate in system implementations and enhancements.
• Document workflows, system processes, and functional requirements.

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows.
• Strong understanding of SDLC.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Jira and Confluence.
• SQL.
• Visio, Lucidchart, or similar process-mapping tools.
• API and integration concepts.
• Cloud-based applications.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, financial, healthcare, or enterprise systems.
• Experience supporting UAT and system implementations.
