Summary

Description
Events provide opportunities for our leaders to connect with prospects and clients, building new relationships while nurturing existing ones, and showcasing our differential positioning and knowledge in the competitive consulting landscape. As such, they represent a mission-critical marketing channel that directly drives both our branding impact as well as the generation of new business opportunities.
The volume of events performed globally across the client practices, markets and business units, and the variety of virtual and live formats performed, pose a significant operational challenge that the current fragmentation of our technology systems cannot optimally support. As we aim for excellence, we need a consolidated set of scalable solutions that enable smoother and more efficient operations for marketers across the organization, while ensuring more systematic and high-quality data tracking to monitor our efforts, showcase our performances and assess our investments.
As Event Technology Product Owner, your responsibilities will include:
Own the client's event management system (Cvent and related systems like Splash or OnArrival), defining roadmaps for its maintenance, evolution and scale-up across the organization, setting priorities for development squads and managing the related backlog through the year
Ensure the event management system and other platforms involved in the end-to-end event lifecycle (planning, approvals, invitation, registration, check-in, reporting) support a seamless and streamlined user experience for internal stakeholders and external invites/attendees
Serve as primary interface to marketing stakeholders (primarily within the Global External Relations & Events team and the Digital Marketing team) to translate their strategies, business needs and functional requirements into clear technical requirements that drive effective and scalable solutions
Shape and prioritize use cases related to event data, collaborating with other Product Owners of adjacent technology solutions (e.g. CRM, Data Enhancement tools, reporting automation ...) to align dependencies, integration points and roadmaps to support seamless event-related workflows
Provide consultative guidance on best practices for event data integration and utilization across platforms, defining how event data is captured, structured and leveraged across systems, in close alignment with requirements provided by the Event marketing team
Collaborate with CRM and data teams to ensure smooth data flows, ensure data quality & consistency across platforms, and define requirements for APIs/integrations/data pipelines supporting event execution
Act as escalation point for complex use cases of event management system issues
