Title: Project Manager_ Data & Infrastructure Projects
Type (Contract, C2H): 6 months to start, possible extension, possible FTE conversion
Weekly Hours: 37.5
Location: Toronto, ON- 2-3x per week In office
Interview Process: 1 round
Compensation: $70- $75/hour
Day to Day:
- Facilitate ongoing communication between business stakeholders, application owners, infrastructure teams, and engineering teams.
- Own the creation, submission, and lifecycle of change tickets within governance process (extremely important).
- Produce clear, concise weekly status reports for leadership, highlighting key accomplishments, upcoming milestones, risks, and decisions required.
- Provide timely updates to the Director and senior leadership on execution progress and cross-team impacts.
- Track project budgets, forecast expenses, manage accruals, and ensure financials remain accurate and up to date.
- Support onboarding of project team members, managing allocations, time tracking, and capacity planning.
- Prepare project artifacts in alignment with PMO standards: Business Cases, Charters, Status Reports, PM Checkpoints, Transition Plans, and Closure documentation.
- Keep all documentation updated and audit-ready, ensuring compliance with governance, risk, and control requirements.
- Drive day-to-day execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring milestones are met and escalating risks or blockers proactively.
Must-haves:
- 5-7 years of PM experience
- PMP certification required
- Strong communication and must be a proactive performer
- Data Modelling experience or Data Migration experience project experience
- Experience setting up SIT and/or UAT environment knows step by step requirements for set up
- Understands SDLC
- Infrastructure projects
Nice-to-haves:
- Knows cloud platforms, moving applications (doesn t need to be an expert) - on-prem to cloud, cloud to SaaS, etc
