Position Overview
Seeking a Senior Oracle EBS Functional Consultant with 10+ years of hands-on experience for a 6-month contract in Plano, TX (100% Onsite).
The candidate will lead functional design, module configuration, enhancements, and operational support across Oracle EBS R12.2.x Financials, Procurement, and Projects modules.
This role requires a strong background in the Retail domain, end-to-end business process mapping, fit-gap analysis, month-end/year-end close support, and collaborating with technical teams on integrations, customizations, and data conversions.
Key Responsibilities
* Oracle EBS Solution Design & Configuration: Lead functional design, module setup, and business process configuration across core Oracle EBS R12.2.x modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Purchasing (PO), and Project Accounting (PA).
* Requirements & Fit-Gap Analysis: Conduct requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and map retail financial and procurement workflows into scalable Oracle EBS architecture.
* Testing, Conversion & Stabilization: Write functional design documents (MD050/BR100), develop test scripts, drive SIT/UAT execution, manage data migration/reconciliation, and provide hypercare post-production support.
* Financial Operations & Compliance: Support month-end and year-end financial close cycles, account reconciliations, root cause analysis for production incidents, and ensure compliance with SOX/audit controls.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical/CEMLI development teams on custom interfaces, reports, data conversions, and cloud transformation roadmap alignment.
Required Qualifications
* Core Experience: 10+ years of dedicated functional consulting experience in Oracle EBS R12.2.x.
* Module Expertise: Deep hands-on functional proficiency in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Purchasing (PO), and Project Accounting (PA).
* Domain Focus: Proven experience working within the Retail domain and retail financial ecosystems.
* Lifecycle Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end implementation lifecycles, data conversion, SIT/UAT management, and month-end/year-end financial close operations.
* Work Setup & Location: 100% Onsite in Plano, TX.
