Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. As a UAT Lead, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.
Responsibilities:
Platform and Domain Ownership
Quickly ramp up on the Compass tool suite and become a subject matter expert for operational and business use cases
Understand end-to-end business workflows supported by the platform and how changes impact users
UAT Leadership and Execution
Take ownership of UAT for in-flight projects, assess current state, and stabilize testing activities
Create and maintain test plans, test scripts, and traceability matrices
Execute hands-on testing across features, integrations, and workflows
Support ad-hoc and exploratory testing when timelines are compressed
Defect and Release Management
Log, track, and manage defects using Octane
Partner with development and product teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting
Drive go/no-go decisions based on test coverage, defect trends, and business risk
Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement
Apply strong change management practices to prepare users for releases
Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to align on scope, readiness, and deployment plans
Lead UAT status meetings, defect triage, and readiness reviews
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in UAT, QA, or Test Lead roles in enterprise environments
Proven ability to step into projects mid-flight and quickly establish control and structure
Strong experience building test plans, test scripts, and UAT frameworks
Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (Octane strongly preferred)
Experience testing complex enterprise or operational systems
Strong stakeholder and change management skills
The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $130,000 or the hourly equivalent.
