Job Description:
About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the development, testing, and launch of next-generation automotive tire pressure monitoring systems. This role will focus on validating hardware, software, and system-level functionality while ensuring compliance with automotive safety and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience testing automotive electrical systems and enjoy working cross-functionally with engineering teams, suppliers, and manufacturing operations to deliver high-quality vehicle systems.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Design Verification Plans (DVPs) for TPMS systems on bench setups, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments, and vehicle platforms.
  • Support the development and validation of TPMS hardware, software, and system requirements.
  • Lead and participate in design reviews with internal engineering teams and external suppliers.
  • Create, review, and maintain quality and engineering documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FMVSS, ECE, RF certification, and homologation standards.
  • Track issues, test results, and project status using FEDE and JIRA.
  • Support vehicle development milestones and product launches through issue identification, root cause analysis, and resolution activities.
  • Collaborate with Chassis, Vehicle Operations, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful vehicle integration.
  • Support APQP and PPAP activities with suppliers and manufacturing facilities.
  • Travel as needed to supplier locations and assembly plants to support design reviews, validation, and launch activities.
  • Maintain engineering deliverables such as FEDE BOMs, Netcom Message Lists, configurable parameter verification, and other program documentation.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and/or testing automotive electrical systems.
  • Experience working with automotive hardware, software, and system validation.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans and validation activities.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with vehicle communication network tools such as CANalyzer.
  • Experience with wireless or RF-based technologies.
  • Familiarity with automotive development processes and launch activities.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and automotive quality standards.
