We are hiring Maintenance Mechanics at multiple levels. Candidates will be considered for Level I, II, or III based on experience, technical skills and interview performance.


Potential Placement Levels

Maintenance Technician I
Key Accountabilities

  • Learn maintenance and reliability practices to ensure all assets are maintained in safe conditions while continuing to ensure the life of the equipment being used
  • Complete preventative, predictive and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility under general guidance
  • Have a basic understanding or are trained on operating standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools and preventative maintenance technology tools
  • Understand or learn at least one maintenance trade and components (i.e. electrical, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance and hydraulic and pneumatic systems)
  • Modify by reading step by step instructions in either electrical or mechanical schematics, blueprints and operation manuals
  • Document completed work and the conditions found utilizing maintenance computer software and interact regularly with peers and management
  • Operate forklifts and scissor lifts from designated locations with little variation
  • Other duties as assigned

Maintenance Technician II
Key Accountabilities

  • Utilize maintenance and reliability practices with some guidance to ensure all assets are maintained in safe condition while continuing to ensure the life of the equipment being used
  • Complete preventative, predictive and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility, with limited direction
  • Leverage knowledge and ability to operate 1 or 2 standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools and preventative maintenance technology tools
  • Demonstrate experience in 1 or 2 maintenance trades and components (ex. electrical, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance and hydraulic and pneumatic systems)
  • Modify with some direction or instruction in either electrical or mechanical schematics, blueprints and operation manuals
  • Document completed work and the conditions found utilizing maintenance computer software and interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations
  • Operate forklifts and scissor lifts following standard production documentation to deliver to the correct location
  • Other duties as assigned

Maintenance Technician III
Key Accountabilities

  • Utilize maintenance and reliability practices with little to no guidance to ensure all assets are maintained in safe condition while continuing to ensure the life of the equipment being used
  • Independently complete preventative, predictive and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility
  • Apply knowledge and ability to operate two or more standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools and preventative maintenance technology tools
  • Apply an in depth understanding and experience of two or more maintenance trades and components (i.e. electrical, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance and hydraulic and pneumatic systems)
  • Modify equipment by reading either electrical or mechanical schematics, blueprints and operation manuals
  • Document completed work and the conditions found utilizing maintenance computer software interact regularly with peers and provide feedback to management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations
  • Other duties as assigned

Pay:
Maintenance Technician I: $26.50 - $33.00
Maintenance Technician II: $34.00 - $36.50
Maintenance Technician III: $37.50 - $39.50

Job Purpose and Impact
The Maintenance Mechanic I, will perform maintenance and troubleshoot production or warehouse machinery typically focused on a singular trade and under frequent guidance. In this role, you will utilize maintenance and reliability practices to complete preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance to ensure assets are maintained.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Prior industrial maintenance experience or equivalent of technical degree
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior industrial food and beverage industry work experience
  • AEI Experience
