Job Overview

We re looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong DataStage ETL expertise to support complaints management processes running on IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW). This role is part of the Comerica Bank integration initiative.

You ll work on landing data from Snowflake into DB2 and may also handle unstructured data into NAS or SharePoint environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable data management systems
• Develop and manage ETL workflows using DataStage
• Work with DB2 and other database systems to ensure data accuracy and performance
• Build and optimize high-performance data pipelines and models
• Ensure systems meet business and industry standards
• Integrate new data technologies into existing environments
• Develop processes for data mining, modeling, and production
• Support disaster recovery procedures and data reliability improvements
• Collaborate with data architects, IT teams, and other stakeholders

Must Have Skills

• Strong experience in ETL DataStage
• Database experience with DB2
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Scripting experience (SAS, Python)
• Java knowledge
• Experience handling unstructured data (NAS, SharePoint)
• Background in banking or highly regulated financial industries

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Experience programming or working with backend technologies
