Responsibilities

  • Build and foster collaborative relationships across departments for seamless data coordination.
  • Work alongside ETL architects to align data transformation processes with business needs.
  • Design and implement efficient ETL workflows using cutting-edge tools such as Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.
  • Diagnose and resolve data quality challenges to ensure the integrity and reliability of pipelines.
  • Document processes meticulously and strategize for smooth continuous integration and delivery.
  • Conduct thorough analyses to identify and troubleshoot issues in production, engaging in routine testing of data flows.

Skills

  • Proven experience in data engineering, with a specialization in data warehousing.
  • Expertise in constructing robust data pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory.
  • Solid experience in ETL process development with tools like Informatica PowerCenter or SSIS.
  • Adeptness in handling relational databases such as Oracle, Snowflake, or SQL Server.
  • Competence in crafting stored procedures using languages like PL/SQL or T-SQL.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with batch or PowerShell scripting and Python coding.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and API design in Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.
  • Understanding of HL7 and FHIR standards for healthcare data integration.
  • Possession of Azure certifications related to data engineering or analytics.
