About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Terraform / DevOps Production Support Engineer to join our client s cloud engineering and automation team on a contract basis. This is a strong opportunity to work in a large-scale enterprise environment, supporting and enhancing Terraform Enterprise platforms used to automate cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud providers. You will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, scalability, and operational excellence for production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide production support for Terraform Enterprise and related automation platforms.
Design, develop, and maintain Terraform modules to support cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Administer and support Linux-based systems used in automation and CI/CD pipelines.
Integrate Terraform with enterprise DevOps tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Ansible, and CI/CD platforms.
Monitor systems, respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive problem resolution.
Improve and optimize deployment processes to deliver stable and reliable cloud solutions.
Collaborate with technical leads, architects, and product engineering teams to address infrastructure and automation challenges.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation required to promote code from development through production.
Support Agile/Scrum processes, including task estimation and delivery against project timelines.
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards for performance, security, stability, and maintainability.
What We re Looking For
8 10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Production Support roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Terraform Enterprise.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using HCL.
Solid cloud experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong Linux system administration skills.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
Working knowledge of automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
Programming or scripting experience with Python and/or PowerShell.
Understanding of monitoring, incident management, and site reliability practices.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Cloud certifications are a plus.
Strong communication, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $70.00 $72.00 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
