Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to Master Data Management (MDM).

  • Configure and support SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)/SAP MDM solutions for Material, Customer, Vendor, and Business Partner master data.

  • Collaborate with SAP functional teams (MM, SD, PP, FI/CO) to ensure data consistency across modules.

  • Define data governance policies, workflows, validation rules, and approval processes.

  • Support data migration, cleansing, harmonization, and data quality initiatives.

  • Create functional specifications and work with technical teams on enhancements and integrations.

  • Conduct testing (SIT/UAT), user training, and post-go-live support.

  • Troubleshoot master data issues and recommend process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of SAP functional experience with 3+ years in SAP MDM/MDG.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP master data processes for Material, Vendor, Customer, and Business Partner.

  • Experience integrating MDM with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.

  • Hands-on experience with data governance workflows and data quality management.

  • Strong understanding of SAP MM, SD, and related business processes.

  • Experience with data migration tools (LSMW, Migration Cockpit, or similar) is preferred.

  • Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments.

  • Prior SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation project experience.

  • SAP MDG certification is a plus.

Work Arrangement

  • Location: New Bremen, Ohio

  • Schedule: Onsite 2 days every other week (hybrid travel requirement)

  • Duration: 12+ month contract
