Summary

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their .Net Azure Data Engineer position! This is a 12 month contract with expected extension and/or conversion to FTE and will be hybrid in Wilmington, DE. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

This position will be mostly heads down execution taking fairly well defined tasks and building them - more of a pure hands on staff augmentation software engineering role.
Support the migration and redesign of wealth management applications from internal data centers to Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and modern architecture patterns
Build and maintain data processing pipelines and ETL frameworks to integrate multiple vendor systems, combining data from various sources to create a unified platform experience
Develop hands-on solutions using C# and .NET Core to modernize legacy applications, upgrading existing .NET Framework 4.x code to current .NET Core standards
Design and implement Azure Data Factory (ADF) workflows to orchestrate complex data jobs and automate data movement across the trading and portfolio management ecosystem
Create and optimize SQL and NoSQL database structures to support high-performance data processing for trading positions, portfolio analytics, and client reporting
Collaborate with business stakeholders and trading teams to understand requirements and deliver internal-facing web capabilities and enhanced reporting features
Support the development of interfaces used by traders for daily operations, including trade settlement, reconciliation, and position management functionality
Participate in technical evaluations and provide analytical consulting on new technology implementations to enhance the wealth management platform

What You'll Need to Have:

3-5+ years of systems analysis and application development experience with a strong focus on data processing and ETL development
Deep expertise in C# and .NET Core development, with proven ability to modernize legacy .NET Framework applications
Solid experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building and orchestrating data pipelines and workflows
Strong proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL database structures, with hands-on experience in data modeling and ETL architecture
Demonstrated experience with Azure application architecture and cloud-based solution design
Proven ability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously, managing competing priorities and tight delivery timelines
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to understand complex system interrelationships and downstream impacts
Excellent communication skills with experience coordinating between technical teams and business stakeholders

Pay Range: $65-85/hr
