Database Administrator (Locals Only)

Role: Database Administrator

Location: Locals to Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Visa: NO GC

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS), Data Warehouse Management, and Decision Support Tools.

Experience in development, implementation, and maintenance of Data Warehouses and Data Marts.

Experience with Business Objects and Data Dictionary creation.

Ability to use database access tools for application delivery.

Strong understanding of analysis, planning, and management reporting functions.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

High analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Understanding of benchmarking processes and techniques.

Experience with Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Normalized Data Models).

Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, IBM WebSphere DataStage, or similar.

Experience with enterprise databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or similar.

Experience with reporting tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy, or similar.

Experience throughout the Data Warehouse lifecycle including requirements gathering, logical and physical modeling, data sourcing, transformation, loading, SQL development, and reporting.

Proven ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams and manage multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Skills:

Oracle Database experience.

SSRS Report Development.
