In this role, you'll diagnose and resolve complex press issues, ensure equipment reliability, and deliver the hands-on support that keeps our customers running at peak performance.

This isn't just a break-fix role. You'll be a trusted partner throughout the customer journey - from initial installation through long-term success - leveraging cutting-edge AI and remote diagnostic tools to proactively identify issues and accelerate resolution. If you thrive at the intersection of deep technical expertise and genuine customer engagement, this role was built for you.

What You'll Do

Technical Field Service

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and process-related issues with speed and precision

  • Perform routine maintenance, software upgrades, and preventive service

  • Deliver both on-site and remote technical support as needed

  • Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports

Customer Success & Training

  • Lead structured Ramp-Up programs for new customers during the critical first 30-90 days of production

  • Train press operators and production staff on press operation and workflow, color management and media handling, maintenance best practices, and troubleshooting and quality control

  • Assess operator skill levels and tailor coaching approaches accordingly

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Applications, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding

  • Serve as a technical mentor who builds long-term confidence and capability within customer teams

What You Bring

  • Technical diploma or degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

  • 3+ years of field service experience, ideally with digital printing equipment (HP Indigo experience strongly preferred)

  • Solid understanding of digital press technology, color theory, and RIP/workflow systems

  • Strong troubleshooting ability across print quality, mechanical, and electrical domains

  • Working knowledge of AC/DC electrical circuits and proficiency with a multimeter

  • Proven experience in customer training or technical mentoring

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a customer-first mindset

  • Ability to travel frequently domestically, with occasional international travel

  • Self-directed with strong time management and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Indigo Certification(s) or direct experience with Indigo presses

  • Familiarity with DFE/RIP software such as Smart Stream, Esko, or EFI

  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies

  • Multilingual skills are a plus

What's Included

While on contract, you'll receive access to Indigo platform training and certification, career development opportunities within a global organization, and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and mileage reimbursement.
