Senior Data Analyst

Location: Remote, USA · Experience: 7+ Years · Contract: 6–12 Months

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to analyze complex datasets, develop reports and dashboards, and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.

  • Write complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, and common table expressions.

  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.

  • Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business performance metrics.

  • Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with business teams, data engineers, and management.

  • Automate recurring reports and improve data quality.

  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence.

  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases.

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau.

  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and reporting.

  • Experience with data cleansing, data validation, and KPI development.

  • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Python or R for data analysis.

  • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or cloud data platforms.

  • Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling.

  • Experience in statistical analysis or forecasting.
