Operating as an external talent partner for this search, StaffRight Associates is seeking a specialist dedicated to maximizing the operational safety, structural integrity, and long-term viability of advanced regional production plants. This pivotal position drives technical execution across Air Separation, Carbon Dioxide, and Hydrogen production facilities, offering an exceptional opportunity to influence engineering excellence across multiple regional sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute major system installations, complex asset overhauls, and comprehensive inspections encompassing predictive, preventive, and corrective methodologies for industrial mechanical and machinery systems.

  • Deliver comprehensive technical guidance and troubleshooting expertise both directly on-site and through remote consultation to various regional operations.

  • Architect comprehensive turnaround strategies, formalizing detailed scope frameworks and precise cost evaluations for machinery-related initiatives.

  • Synthesize operational data to identify, isolate, and remediate recurring asset deficiencies and underperforming mechanical systems.

  • Champion systematic root cause failure analyses to isolate underlying operational vulnerabilities and prevent subsequent systemic downtime.

  • Drive immediate resolution protocols for critical, high-impact plant issues with a relentless focus on safety, urgency, and technical precision.

  • Manage a dynamic work routine balance consisting of centralized office planning and active field deployment, accommodating approximately 30% domestic travel and maintaining off-hours technical availability.

  • Navigate diverse industrial environments, including working in variable weather conditions and accessing elevated apparatus via scaffolding, ladders, personnel lifts, and crane platforms.

What You Bring

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 to 10 years of dedicated field expertise optimizing, maintaining, and repairing heavy machinery and rotating systems within an industrial production environment.

  • Technical Mastery: Demonstrated success managing, diagnosing, and overhauling intricate process machinery, including Centrifugal Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, Screw Compressors, Centrifugal Pumps, Positive Displacement Pumps, Turbines, Synchronous Motors, Induction Motors, High-Speed Gearboxes, Heat Exchangers, Cryogenic Interchangers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, and industrial Piping Systems.

  • Methodologies & Tools: Advanced proficiency utilizing Precision Measuring Devices and executing Precision Alignment protocols on complex, multi-train machinery configurations.

  • Maintenance Frameworks: Deep practical knowledge governing Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Vibration Analysis, Dynamic Balancing, and overall Spare Parts Inventory Management.

  • Systems & Software: Expert utilization of standard office productivity tools, including MS Office, paired with structured experience navigating an electronic Computerized Maintenance Management System or EAM CMMS System.

  • Core Competencies: Stellar collaborative aptitude and interpersonal communication skills; a self-starting professional who can operate autonomously, coordinate cross-functional teams, and maintain meticulous engineering documentation.

  • Education & Credentials: An Associate''s Degree In Mechanical Engineering Technology or completion of a formal 4-Year Machinist Apprenticeship Program / Millwright Apprenticeship Program is highly preferred, alongside a strong command of Regulatory Standards and Industrial Codes.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Base Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 annually, precisely aligned with prior background and qualified technical proficiency.

  • Employment Structure: Full-Time, Direct Hire position.
