Role Summary
The IT Infrastructure and Operations Leader is responsible for directing enterprise wide infrastructure initiatives while maintaining day to day operational stability across multiple sites. This role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable environments by aligning infrastructure execution with business priorities.
In addition to leading complex infrastructure programs, this role governs operational processes, vendor engagement, and cross functional coordination to ensure consistent delivery and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities • Lead end to end delivery of enterprise infrastructure programs including site refreshes, network upgrades, and multi location deployments
• Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination for infrastructure projects involving network, power, and data center equipment
• Manage daily IT infrastructure operations while balancing project execution and business as usual support
• Establish and enforce standardized operational processes including MACD workflows, change control, and documentation
• Coordinate network and site readiness activities including circuits, data drops, failover paths, and site turn ups
• Partner with facilities teams to validate power, cooling, racking, and environmental requirements
• Manage procurement activities including purchase orders, contracts, SOWs, and vendor deliverables
• Serve as a senior escalation point for infrastructure incidents, outages, and cross functional issues
• Develop, coach, and mentor infrastructure team members to elevate performance and technical execution
• Produce clear, leadership ready operational updates and project status reporting for executive stakeholders
Key Requirements • 10 plus years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations leadership within large or multi site environments
• Hands on background supporting network, hardware, data center, and facilities integrated infrastructure
• Experience leading infrastructure programs involving network equipment, firewalls, UPS systems, circuits, and hardware lifecycle management
• Strong understanding of operational governance including change management, inventory control, and EOL remediation
• Proven experience managing vendors, procurement processes, and third party service providers
• Ability to translate technical detail into business relevant communication for senior leadership
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and collaboration skills across technical and non technical teams
