Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company Join BILL as a Senior Product Designer on our Spend & Expense (S&E) team and help create the future of financial automation for businesses. In this role, you'll design end-to-end experiences that earn customer trust, remove operational friction, and turn complex financial workflows into intuitive, high-performing products. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, leveraging your expertise to solve complex problems and deliver experiences that set BILL apart in the market.
You'll join a vision-driven, collaborative Design org focused on building connected, cross-product experiences across BILL's platform. If you thrive at tackling ambiguous problems, validating ideas through experimentation, and elevating quality through systems thinking and craft, this is a chance to make an impact at BILL.
Responsibilities: - Drive end-to-end product design from discovery to launch, defining problems, exploring concepts, prototyping, and delivering polished UI that meets user and business goals.
- Develop design strategies that align with product objectives and key metrics; apply experimentation (A/B and multivariate) to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
- Collaborate as a co-lead with Product and Engineering facilitating rituals, shaping roadmaps with design insights, and ensuring feasibility, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Translate complex workflows into simple, trustworthy experiences; connect design decisions to clear customer value and measurable outcomes.
- Contribute to and evolve design systems, patterns, and standards to drive consistency and speed across the product surface area.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and leadership framing tradeoffs, telling compelling customer stories, and building alignment.
- Mentor and support junior designers through feedback, pairing, and modeling best-in-class craft and process.
We'd love to chat if you have: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Interaction Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing end-to-end work, strong interaction design, and measurable product impact.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Hands-on experience with experimentation, including defining hypotheses, partnering with data teams, designing A/B or multivariate tests, and using results to iterate on product experiences.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills; ability to influence decisions and align stakeholders around user-centered outcomes.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the business drivers for their product area and proactively identifies opportunities to create design solutions that meet both user and business needs effectively.
- Demonstrates a strong command of design principles and consistently produces high-quality, innovative, and user-centered designs, effectively navigating constraints and contributing to the evolution of design systems.
Desired Qualifications: - Fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS experience working on complex, multi-stakeholder workflows.
- Practical experience using AI-powered tools as part of your design process is a plus (for example: research synthesis, concept and prototype generation, or UI exploration), with a clear point of view on when and how to use them responsibly.

$137,400-$165,000 USD
The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL's bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. Draper UT pay range
$116,800-$140,300 USD
