What is in it for you?

Healthcare Data Analyst with strong expertise in advanced SQL, data modeling, valuebased care analytics, AWS (Redshift/Athena/S3), and building stakeholder-ready dashboards and insights.

Responsibilities: -

  • Design and develop advanced SQL queries, data models, and optimized analytics pipelines to support large-scale healthcare analytics workloads.
  • Build dashboard-ready datasets and create insightful data visualizations and storytelling outputs for business and clinical stakeholders.
  • Work extensively with healthcare claims and clinical datasets, ensuring accurate interpretation of medical economics, risk adjustment, quality metrics, and population health indicators.
  • Support valuebased care programs, acting as an SME in internal and client discussions, and translating VBC requirements into measurable analytics deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain custom tables, views, stored procedures, and performancetuned SQL logic, preferably in AWS Redshift.
  • Build scalable data solutions using AWS services such as Redshift, Athena, S3, and integrate analytics workflows with Amazon QuickSight dashboards.
  • Handle ad hoc analytics requests, delivering precise and actionable insights for healthcare customers with tight turnaround times.
  • Partner with crossfunctional teams and directly engage clients to understand business needs, refine requirements, and present analytics findings clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on projects using agile tools like Jira and Confluence, ensuring proper documentation, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.
  • (Good to Have) Contribute to modern data stack initiatives using dbt, Snowflake, Looker, and assist in automation using Python, GitHub workflows, or CI/CD pipelines.

Educational Qualifications: -

  • Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
  • Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.

Advanced SQL & Data Modeling Proven ability to design robust data models, write complex SQL, and build performant analytics pipelines.

Data Visualization & Storytelling Ability to translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights using dashboards and stakeholder-ready visualizations.

Healthcare Analytics & Value-Based Care Expertise Strong hands-on experience with claims and clinical data, value-based care metrics, and healthcare quality measures.

Healthcare Data Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience working with healthcare data

Deep expertise in claims and/or clinical data

Strong understanding of medical economics, risk adjustment, quality measures, and population health analytics

Value-Based Care

Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting value-based care use cases

Ability to act as a Value-Based Care SME in internal and client-facing discussions

Technical & Analytics Skills

Advanced SQL (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning)

Strong data modeling skills to support analytics and BI developers

Experience creating custom tables, views, and stored procedures (preferably in AWS Redshift)

Ability to support ad hoc analytics and complex customer requests

Cloud & BI Tools

Hands-on experience with AWS data stack: Redshift, Athena, S3

Experience building and delivering dashboards using Amazon QuickSight

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Comfortable engaging directly with healthcare customers

Strong ability to translate business and value-based goals into actionable analytics deliverables

Experience presenting insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Good-to-Have Skills

Modern Data & Analytics Tools

  1. Experience with dbt, Snowflake, or Looker
  2. Familiarity with data pipelines and SaaS-scale analytics platforms

Programming & Automation

  1. Ability to write and troubleshoot Python for data analysis or automation
  2. Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins

Healthcare Interoperability

  1. Understanding of FHIR or other healthcare interoperability standards

AI & Advanced Analytics

  1. Experience integrating or validating AI-powered coding or analytics tools
  2. Exposure to model QA, validation, or analytics governance

Tooling & Collaboration

  1. Experience using Jira and Confluence in an agile environment

Industry Exposure

  1. Prior experience working at a healthcare data vendor, ACO/CIN, payer, or healthcare SaaS company
