 Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant with 10+ years of experience and strong expertise in S/4HANA implementations. This role focuses on Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), driving end-to-end finance transformation, process optimization, and system integration.

The ideal candidate will lead configuration and delivery across key finance areas, ensure seamless FI integration with SD and MM modules, and support global financial operations with scalable, compliant SAP solutions.

 Experience Required:

·         10+ years of SAP consulting experience

·         2–3 full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations (mandatory)

 Core SAP Expertise Required:

 Financial Accounting (FI):

·         General Ledger (Classic & New GL)

·         Accounts Receivable (AR)

·         Financial Closing & Reporting

Controlling (CO):

·         Product Costing (CO-PC)

·         Cost Center Accounting (CCA)

·         Internal Orders (IO)

·         Profit Center Accounting (PCA)

·         Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

·         Material Ledger / Actual Costing

 Banking & Financial Operations:

·         Electronic Bank Statements (EBS)

·         Lockbox processing

·         Bank communication integration

·         Payment processing and automation

·         Foreign currency valuation and translation

 Additional Functional Expertise:

·         Strong FI-MM and FI-SD integration experience

·         Tax processing and regulatory compliance

·         Local GAAP reporting and special purpose ledger

·         Credit management, collections, and dispute processes (FI-AR side)

·         Payroll accounting integration (high-level exposure)

 Key Responsibilities:

·         Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations and enhancements in S/4HANA environments

·         Configure and manage FI modules including GL, AR, AP, and Asset Accounting

·         Drive Controlling processes including Product Costing, CO-PA, PCA, and Cost Center Accounting

·         Design and implement FI-SD and FI-MM integrations to ensure accurate financial postings

·         Configure and optimize banking processes including EBS, lockbox, and payment automation

·         Support financial close processes, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy

·         Perform fit-gap analysis, solution design, and system configuration

·         Develop detailed functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams

·         Execute and support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT)

·         Manage data integrity, financial accuracy, and audit compliance

·         Provide production support and perform root cause analysis

·         Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within finance operations

 Project & Leadership Responsibilities:

 ·         Lead full project lifecycle activities, including:

Requirements gathering

Gap analysis

Solution design and configuration

Deployment and hypercare

·         Manage onshore/offshore teams and coordinate deliverables

·         Act as a primary liaison with business stakeholders and leadership

·         Ensure delivery aligns with scope, timelines, and quality standards

·         Drive continuous improvement and support finance transformation initiatives

 Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field (preferred)

·         10+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience

·         Strong expertise in S/4HANA Finance

·         Proven experience in multiple end-to-end SAP implementations

·         Deep understanding of financial processes, compliance, and reporting

·         Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

·         Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models

 Nice-to-Have Skills:

·         SAP Certification in FICO / S/4HANA Finance

·         Experience with advanced financial reporting and analytics

·         Exposure to digital finance transformation initiatives
