Job Title : Manual QA Tester
Location: Remote
Full Time
*Note: Candidate must speak & understand spanish.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of IVA/IVR applications across telephony and voice platforms.
- Validate Spanish-language conversations, including prompts, intents, utterances, and error handling.
- Test end-to-end call flows, DTMF, speech recognition (ASR), and NLU behavior.
- Execute test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing.
- Work with and execute test suites from automation frameworks developed by other team members.
- Analyze logs, call traces, and test results to identify root causes.
- Report, track, and verify defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and automation engineers to ensure quality delivery.
- Contribute to test documentation, test plans, and test case creation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Manual Testing for voice-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with IVA and IVR platforms.
- Fluent Spanish speaker (spoken and written) must be able to test conversational accuracy.
- Experience working with automation frameworks created by others (e.g., executing. maintaining, or validating automated tests).
- Solid understanding of QA processes, SDLC, and STLC.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Ability to analyze voice logs, transcripts, and system responses.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to telephony systems (SIP, PSTN, VoIP).
- Basic understanding of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, custom voice test frameworks).
- Experience testing multilingual or conversational AI systems.
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
