Workday Reporting Developer

Location: Edison, NJ (Onsite) – 2 Positions
Engagement: Long-Term Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Reporting Developer to support enterprise-wide reporting needs across HR, Payroll, and Finance domains within a large healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Workday reporting, data analysis, and integrations, with experience supporting hospital or healthcare systems preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Workday custom reports, including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Dashboards
• Build and optimize Calculated Fields to support complex business requirements
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights
• Support Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio – as applicable) for reporting and downstream systems
• Ensure data accuracy, validation, and compliance with healthcare and internal reporting standards
• Troubleshoot reporting issues, performance concerns, and data discrepancies
• Assist with Workday enhancements, upgrades, and testing cycles
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday Reporting experience
• Strong expertise in Advanced, Matrix, Composite Reports, and Dashboards
• Deep understanding of Workday business objects and calculated fields
• Experience supporting Healthcare / Hospital systems is highly preferred
• Exposure to Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and/or Financials reporting
• Working knowledge of Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience working with large enterprise or healthcare organizations
• Workday certifications (Reporting, HCM, or Integrations)
