Role: Enterprise Resource Planning Advisor- SAP program manager

Location: Morris Plains, NJ (Onsite)

Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP R/3 to RISE (S/4HANA) upgrade, migration, and cutover planning and execution
  • Oversee environment strategy across Dev, QA, UAT, Pre-Prod, and Production, including transport management and release governance
  • Develop and execute detailed cutover plans, coordinating functional, technical, infrastructure, and business teams
  • Lead Daily MOS (Management Operating System) calls, drive accountability, and ensure milestone adherence with minimal supervision
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks; proactively resolve issues impacting delivery timelines
  • Provide executive-level reporting, status communication, and decision support to leadership
  • Act as a thought leader in solving complex migration and deployment challenges Qualifications
  • 10+ years' experience with SAP R/3 and RISE with SAP (S/4HANA) environments
  • Experience managing at least 2 full cycle SAP upgrades, migrations, and large-scale cutover management.
  • 10+ years' experience as Project Manager
  • Activate Methodology certification is a plus.

Education:

  • 4 year Engg or post graduate management degree or equivalent.
  • Able to communicate with leadership and experience presenting to executive leadership and steering committees.
