Job#: 3028574 Job Description: Senior Security Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of Microsoft Purview capabilities, including sensitivity labels, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, Insider Risk Management, and Records Management.
- Define technical standards, configuration baselines, and guardrails for Purview services across Microsoft 365.
- Continuously tune policies using telemetry, alerts, and business impact analysis to reduce false positives.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex Purview-related incidents and investigations.
- Design and implement AWS-native controls for data protection, auditability, and compliance, including CloudTrail, Security Hub, and IAM policies.
- Partner with cloud platform teams to ensure AWS services meet classification, retention, and monitoring requirements.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 6+ years of experience in information security, cloud security, or data protection engineering, with 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Purview in large enterprise environments.
Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 security and compliance services, sensitivity labeling, DLP, data governance concepts, and AWS security fundamentals (IAM, logging, monitoring, guardrails). Proven ability to independently own complex initiatives from design through production.
