US-AC Network Engineer

Job Definition:
Acts as an extended member of customer team to support the account on daily basis. Holds an intermediate background in networking and hardware Aruba Controllers, Airwave servers, and ClearPass Servers.

Responsibilities:
Be physically present on-site for this role.
Part Time. 20 Hours Per Week.
Could be 4hrsX5days, 5hrs X4days.
Hours are Flexible
Perform routine checks on the network to ensure it is up to standards.
Support Client Employees with setting up Layer 1, physical connections.
Be able to update and modify documentation and processes.
Work with client Employees to resolve Connectivity issues in lab effectively and efficiently.
Identify potential issues and monitor/update the tasks.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study.
• 2+ years of work experience in related field.
• Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Wireless experience: Controllers and Access Points
• Knowledge of hardware requirements for client Aruba product portfolio: Switching, Routing,
• Wireless AP and IAP, Controllers, SD-WAN, client Aruba AirWave, Aruba ClearPass and, Aruba Meridian
• Familiarity of networking (LAN-WAN-WLAN).
• Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry
• Basic business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection.
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, ownership, change management skills, team player and collaborates with product and support teams.
• Experience working in a fast-paced multi-vendor environment involving quick turnaround time.
• The ability to work ALONE, without much direction. Will be receiving requests and will maintain the physical integrity of the lab.
• If a candidate lacks Aruba-specific product experience but demonstrates strong general networking skills, certifications, and hands-on project work, they may still be considered.?
