Senior Category Space Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Bellevue, WA that is seeking a Senior Category Space Manager.

Responsibilities
* Build a strong relationship with the retailer as trusted Category Space advisor across all areas of the Beer business
* Use space planning software to effectively merchandise the beer department according to category and retailer strategy, determined in tandem with the division's Category Manager
* Spearhead the Spring and Fall reset process with the drawing team and facilitate questions and problems that arise throughout the project
* Execute store visits and physical resets alongside the retailer and other external partners
* Synthesize learnings from various sources to create clear and impactful selling stories in a visually appealing manner using PowerPoint
* Partner with Sales team to engage external retailer buying team in defined territories with goal of identifying opportunities to grow the Beer category

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree
* Strong passion for the Beer industry
* Shelf management and planogram creation experience (JDA, Apollo, etc.)
* Moderate to Advanced proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel to manipulate and organize data
* Moderate to Advanced proficiency utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint to organize and visualize the story line for presentations
* Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to translate findings and recommendations into a concise and effective selling story
* Ability to confidently present insights, opportunities and recommendations to internal or external stakeholders in a persuasive manner
* Category Management or Sales experience in consumer-packaged goods industry
* Strong familiarity with syndicated data, software, and measures (Circana, Nielsen, etc.)
* Strong familiarity with shopper panel information data, software and measures (Circana, Nielsen, Numerator, Retailer Loyalty data, etc.)
* Experience with dash boarding software such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, or Spotfire

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
