StaffRight Associatesis sourcing for a premier developer of custom industrial manufacturing systems to identify a dynamic and driven Sales Engineer. Based in Greenville, South Carolina, this high-impact role is designed for a strategic professional ready to expand our client''''''''s market share in the North American automotive sector. Producing elite assembly and testing solutions for major automotive, energy, and consumer brands, our client offers an autonomous environment where outstanding sales performance paves a clear path toward a future leadership role as a Sales Manager.

What You’ll Do

  • Cultivate and expand a robust sales pipeline within the specialized automotive axle and custom machinery sectors.

  • Champion sophisticated assembly and testing solutions to prospective manufacturing accounts.

  • Nurture enduring, strategic customer relationships while executing targeted business development strategies.

  • Conduct on-site customer consultations to evaluate production requirements and outline initial automation concepts.

  • Synergize with internal technical and engineering departments to draft comprehensive project proposals.

  • Surpass annual financial benchmarks and direct key account management activities to ensure long-term customer success.

What You Bring

  • Proven track record of 5+ years successfully driving capital equipment revenue in Turnkey Custom Automation Systems sales.

  • Deep domain expertise specifically within Automotive Axle Manufacturing or closely related powertrain sectors.

  • Academic foundation with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent practical experience within Systems Integration environments.

  • High proficiency in Technical Sales Engineering and Key Account Management to cultivate multi-million dollar projects.

  • Superb communication and command of Executive Presentations and complex Contract Negotiation.

  • Self-motivated and strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally to interface directly with clients.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Annual Base Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 (Full-Time, Direct Hire)

  • Paid Time Off: 3 weeks of PTO

  • Paid Holidays: 11 paid holidays annually

  • Company Vehicle: Provided company car

  • Relocation: Relocation assistance is available
