Job Title: Oracle EBS Projects Functional Consultant
Location: Remote (CA/TX preferred) with occasional travel
Duration: 12 months

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Projects Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle EBS R12/R12.2 Projects modules. The consultant will work closely with Finance, Project Management, Engineering, and IT teams to implement, enhance, and support Oracle E-Business Suite Projects functionality, including project accounting, costing, billing, and financial integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements for Oracle EBS Projects.
• Configure and support Oracle EBS Projects modules:
  • Project Foundation
  • Project Costing
  • Project Billing
  • Project Accounting
• Configure project types, templates, task structures, expenditure types, organizations, and accounting rules.
• Support project setup, budgeting, forecasting, cost collection, billing, revenue recognition, and project closeout.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams on RICEFW objects.
• Support integrations with Oracle Financials:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Purchasing (PO)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
• Lead SIT, UAT, deployment, production support, and user training.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Oracle EBS Functional experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Projects modules.
• Strong experience with Oracle EBS R12/R12.2.
• Expertise in:
  • Project Costing
  • Project Billing
  • Project Accounting
  • Revenue Recognition
  • Project Budgeting & Forecasting
• Experience with Oracle Financials integration (GL, AP, AR, PO, FA).
• Experience writing functional specifications for RICEFW developments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Manufacturing, Industrial, EPC, Energy, Automation, or Capital Projects.
• Experience supporting project-based organizations with complex costing and billing.
• Working knowledge of:
  • SQL
  • Oracle Workflow
  • XML Publisher
  • Oracle Concurrent Programs
• Oracle EBS Certification (preferred).
