**Job Summary:**
Key Responsibilities
* install and support IMS product
* Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM IMS products on zOS.
* Administer and support IMSTM, IMSDB, IMS MSC, and IMS related subsystems.
* Perform IMS product installation and maintenance using SMPE.
* Troubleshoot IMS system issues, analyze dumps using IPCS, and perform root cause analysis.
* Support IMS database administration activities including recovery, reorganization, and performance tuning.
* Design and maintain IMS database structures and physical database layouts.
* Monitor IMS environments and ensure high availability and optimal performance.
* Support COBOL and PL1 based IMS applications.
* Work with application teams, operations teams, and vendors to resolve production issues.
* Implement IMS maintenance, PTFs, upgrades, and migration activities.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support guides.
* Participate in on-call support and disaster recovery activities.

Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* 8+ years of Mainframe System Programming experience.
* 5+ years of hands-on IMS AdministrationSystem Programming experience.
* Strong troubleshooting and production support background.
Nice to Have
* DB2 knowledge
* CICS administration experience
* Automation tools exposure (REXX, NetView, OPSMVS)
* ITIL process knowledge
