We are seeking a senior Cerner Millennium CCL Data Transformation Lead to support large-scale EHR modernization and healthcare data migration initiatives. This role will focus on Cerner Command Language (CCL) development, clinical data extraction, ETL processes, system integrations, and enterprise reporting solutions within complex healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep Cerner Millennium expertise, strong healthcare workflow knowledge, and experience supporting enterprise-scale EHR migrations and modernization efforts. This is a fully remote opportunity supporting a major healthcare transformation program.

Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document clinical workflows across inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary care environments
- Translate clinical and operational requirements into technical specifications and data solutions
- Develop, optimize, and support Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts within Cerner Millennium environments
- Perform complex healthcare data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and migration activities
- Support enterprise EHR modernization, reporting, and legacy system retirement initiatives
- Design and maintain ETL processes, structured data feeds, and flat file integrations
- Troubleshoot CCL performance issues, data integration challenges, and reporting defects
- Collaborate with clinical informatics, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of clinical intent
- Support REST/SOA integrations and enterprise healthcare reporting environments
- Execute and tune production batch jobs and support production/non-production Cerner environments
- Communicate technical constraints, dependencies, and data limitations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support cloud-based and enterprise healthcare data solutions across modern infrastructure environments
qualifications:
- 11+ years of experience supporting Cerner Millennium and healthcare IT environments
- Advanced hands-on experience with Cerner Command - Language (CCL) development and optimization
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare operations, and EHR systems
- Experience supporting large-scale EHR implementations, migrations, or modernization initiatives
- Strong experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and Linux environments
- Experience designing and supporting ETL processes and enterprise data integrations
- Experience with healthcare data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and reporting solutions
- Experience with REST/SOA integrations and enterprise application interfaces
- Knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and performance tuning
- Experience supporting production and non-production Cerner environments
- Working knowledge of Java, C, C++, Python, Perl, or OCI preferred
- Experience supporting cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or OCI preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and clinical teams
- Prior experience serving as a senior Cerner consultant or technical lead preferred
