Position Overview

The New York State Office of Mental Health is seeking an experienced Informatica Developer with strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud, Oracle, healthcare data, ETL architecture, data warehousing, and UNIX/Linux environments.

Required Qualifications

  • 84 months of experience using Informatica PowerCenter 10.5.x or higher and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud in a data-warehouse environment. Experience must include advanced data-warehousing concepts and the design and development of complex mappings.

  • 84 months of Informatica PowerCenter administration experience, including installation, patching, metadata analysis, ETL code migration, and repository optimization.

  • 84 months of experience analyzing and converting heterogeneous healthcare-system data into complex ETL code. Data must include admission, discharge, census, financial, billing, human resources, payroll, Medicaid, and pharmacy information.

  • 84 months of experience with relational data-management disciplines and the design and development of Oracle solutions in an enterprise data-warehouse environment. Experience must include implementing Oracle Virtual Private Database (VPD) and Oracle Fine-Grained Auditing to protect healthcare data, including Medicaid, pharmacy, and HIPAA-protected health information.

  • 60 months of experience working with UNIX and/or Linux operating systems.

  • 60 months of experience collaborating with developers as a team lead while designing PowerCenter ETL and database architecture using advanced data-warehousing concepts.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Information Science, or a related field.
