Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow franchise revenues, acquire new clients, and expand service offerings.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including overseeing help desk activities, client support, and project execution.
- Lead client engagement efforts—call on prospects, nurture relationships, and identify new opportunities.
- Manage operational tools such as CRM (HubSpot), ticketing systems (Autotask), cybersecurity platforms (Huntress), and other management software.
- Monitor and optimize Profit & Loss (P&L), balance sheet, and operational metrics to ensure profitability and growth, utilizing financial data to inform decision-making.
- Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring timely issue resolution and proactive service management.
- Collaborate with franchise owners, vendors, and industry partners to expand the network.
- Stay informed on the latest technology trends, especially cloud migration, cybersecurity, and infrastructure improvements.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a value-driven management culture.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT management, sales, support, or related experience in MSP or corporate environments.
- Basic familiarity with servers, hardware, desktops, UNIX, and Windows is sufficient.
- However, a background in cybersecurity, infrastructure, domain management (such as Active Directory), cloud solutions, and network security is a plus, but not mandatory.
- We value a motivated, eager-to-learn individual who can grow into technical aspects over time.
- Proven experience managing help desks, operational tools, and client issues.
- Familiarity with CRM and ticketing platforms (HubSpot, Autotask, Huntress, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, mentorship, and strategic planning skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow and eventually own a franchise.
- Strong networking and client-facing skills with a sales-driven approach.
- Ability to balance technical expertise with business acumen, including margins, profitability, and financial management.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude, capable of working independently without constant oversight.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced but straightforward environment, with a focus on results.
Preferred
- Experience with MSP industry standards and client management.
- Experience in transitioning clients and systems to the cloud.
- Existing network within the DFW area or willingness to develop one.
