Summary

Role: Middleware Engineer

Location: Cary, NC (Onsite)

Note : Middleware Engineer with OpenShift experience (Expert: IIB/MQ, Competent: Openshift)

Primary Skills:

Experience in WMQ/IBM MQ with MQ clustering, Gateway connections, client connections to queue managers.
Experience in WMB 8, IIB 10 and ACE 12.
MQ/IIB Migration experience.
Experience in workload migration from Middleware WMB to OpenShift
Solid working experience in WMB and OpenShift
Hands on experience on IBM Cloud Pak for Integration deployment over RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
Good knowledge of Linux Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and deployment of containerized applications/microservices architectures

Good to have

Knowledge of CI/CD methodology and tooling (Jenkins, Harness)
Experience with system configuration tools including Ansible, Chef
Cluster maintenance and administration experience on OpenShift and Kubernetes
Development and maintenance in operational condition of OpenShift, Kubernetes orchestral container platforms
Perform Root Cause Analysis and produce reports for critical issues
Experience in OpenShift implementation, administration, and support
Strong Knowledge & Experience in RHEL Linux
Manage OpenShift Management Components and Tenants
Participates as part of a technical team responsible for the overall support and management of the OpenShift Container Platform.
