Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Onsite)
Role Overview
This role involves the design and development of components and frameworks in Java, adhering to established development standards and best practices. The position requires interaction with development and technology partners to create scalable solutions. The successful candidate will perform detailed technical impact analysis and contribute to strategic solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop components and frameworks in Java in line with development standards and best practices.
- Interact with Development and Tech Partners to derive scalable solutions.
- Perform detailed technical impact analysis and drive strategic solutions.
- Proactively perform robust testing on developed components in line with Agile principles.
- Provide L3 support on a need basis.
- Work on DevOps tools like BitBucket, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Ansible Tower, and XL Release to enable CI/CD.
- Ensure the overall health of supported applications.
- Learn new technologies as directed for future development needs.
Required Qualifications
Education: B.E
Experience: 7-10 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:- Hands-on experience with Java, SOAP/Restful services, Design Patterns, multi-threading, and JPA.
- Proficiency with Spring Boot and various Spring modules.
- Knowledge of a caching technology; experience with Ignite caching is preferred.
- Understanding of DevOps tools such as Bit Bucket, Jenkins, and Ansible.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and Unix shell scripting.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
Professional Skills:- Good analytical, debugging, and design skills.
- Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to articulate problems and solutions.
