Senior Cloud Engineer – Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD/IAM)

Job Overview:-

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance, and enterprise authentication technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting secure identity solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.

<>Responsibilities-

• Design, implement, and support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) solutions
• Configure Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Governance, and SSO
• Develop automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API
• Manage Hybrid Identity and Azure AD Connect
• Integrate enterprise applications with Microsoft Entra ID
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and DBA teams
• Drive identity modernization initiatives and implement Zero Trust security practices

<>Required Skills-

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Expertise with Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Identity Governance, and Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Experience with Azure AD Connect and Hybrid Identity
• Strong scripting experience using PowerShell
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Graph API and REST APIs
• Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and SCIM
• Experience implementing Zero Trust security principles
• Ability to troubleshoot authentication, federation, and identity-related issues
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

<>Preferred Skills-

• Microsoft Entra External ID (Azure AD B2C / CIAM)
• Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Power Automate
• Cross-cloud identity federation with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Identity incident response
• Security compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST

<>Certifications (Preferred)-

• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• Other Microsoft or security certifications
