Job description
SAP IBP OBP skills with AMS experience
The consultant will be focusing on the project requirements and the corresponding solution designs per the project team and the order-driven supply planning AMS
Exposure to SAP APO-SNP or similar order-driven planning tools
The primary emphasis is on OBP heuristics(primary and mandatory) , and proficiency in key IBP apps is mandatory.
Familiarity with IBP apps: Planner Workspace, Projected Stock, Supply Usage, Gating Factors, etc
Executing scenario planning for supply review meetings in OBP
Integration with ERP for order execution/ Understanding of SAP integration (CPI/RTI) for
Leverage Planner Workspace for planning results and adjustments
IBP Model Configuration concepts
Order-based heuristics (prioritization, configuration, execution)
Manual adjustments in OBP for flexibility
Quota planning and deployment rules (push/pull/fair share)
Procurement planning with vendor lead times / constraints
Deployment planning and Transport Load Builder (TLB) for shipment readiness
Substitution planning and lateness management
Order scheduling using routing data
Result analysis and debugging using Gating Factors
Response management for order confirmation and pegging
AMS mindset
Business focused, aware of incident and problem management frameworks, ITIL recommended.
Able to work with an offshore team and the offshore lead.
