The Principal Solutions Architect will work across business development, capture, proposal, pricing, delivery, engineering, and partner teams to design differentiated, achievable, and compelling solutions for complex federal customers.

- Engage directly with customers to understand mission objectives, pain points, operational constraints, technical environments, acquisition priorities, and desired outcomes.
- Translate customer needs into integrated technical solutions that are secure, scalable, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned to measurable mission value.

- Architect multi-domain solutions across AI/ML, data platforms, cloud, cyber, DevSecOps, enterprise platforms, application modernization, managed services, and mission IT.
- Lead or support technical volumes, solution artifacts, architecture diagrams, white papers, oral presentations, executive briefings, and customer workshops.

- Orchestrate SMEs across multiple technical disciplines, ensuring the final solution is coherent, feasible, compliant, and compelling.
- Assess customer current-state environments and recommend target-state architectures, modernization pathways, operating models, and transition strategies.
- Support solution reviews, color teams, gate reviews, price-to-win discussions, risk reviews, and executive approvals.
- Represent the company as a credible senior technical voice in customer conversations, industry events, partner discussions, and strategic pursuits.
- Help mature reusable solution patterns, accelerators, reference architectures, and partner-aligned offerings across AI, cloud, and cyber.
Required Skills - 15+ years of experience in technology consulting, systems integration, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or federal mission technology.
- 5+ years of experience leading solution architecture or technical strategy for federal pursuits, major programs, or complex customer transformations.
- Experience working in or with large federal systems integrators, technology consulting firms, or mission-focused government contractors.
- Demonstrated ability to shape and communicate end-to-end technical solutions in a capture, proposal, or customer advisory context.
- Strong understanding of federal technology environments, procurement cycles, RFPs, solution reviews, proposal development, and oral presentations.
- Ability to engage credibly with senior customer stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, program executives, mission owners, and technical evaluators.
- Broad technical fluency across several of the following: AI/ML, data engineering, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, zero trust, DevSecOps, application modernization, enterprise platforms, managed services, IT operations, digital engineering, and secure infrastructure.

- Ability to lead through influence across capture, growth, engineering, delivery, pricing, proposal, and partner teams.
- Strong judgment around solution tradeoffs, technical risk, delivery realism, compliance, staffing models, and cost-to-deliver.
Salary Range: $225,000 - $275,000
General Description of Benefits
Desired Skills - Experience supporting large federal bids, including opportunities valued at $100M+ or larger.
- Experience with technical volumes, solution blueprints, oral presentations, color team reviews, and capture solutioning.
- Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or agency-specific clearance.
- Certifications or strong working knowledge in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, cybersecurity, zero trust, SAFe, ITIL, TOGAF, CISSP, PMP, or relevant AI/data platforms.
- Experience with federal civilian, defense, intelligence, homeland security, health, or law enforcement customers.
- Experience developing partner-integrated solutions with major technology providers such as Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, ServiceNow, Red Hat, Elastic, Databricks, Splunk, Palo Alto, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, or similar ecosystems.
Success in this role looks like: You quickly understand a customer's mission and technical environment, then shape a solution that is realistic, differentiated, and tied to measurable value.
You help capture and account teams move from "we can do the work" to a clear, compelling answer for
why our solution is the best technical and mission outcome.
You can walk into a customer meeting, strategy session, color team, or oral presentation and raise the level of the discussion.
You can integrate AI, cloud, cyber, software, data, platforms, and operations into one coherent solution instead of treating them as separate workstreams.
You make complex technology understandable to executives without losing credibility with engineers and architects.
