Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to gather and document business and system requirements
Analyze workflows related to Utilization Management, Care Management, and Behavioral Health programs
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
Work closely with development teams on healthcare data exchange standards such as FHIR and HL7
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulatory requirements
Participate in system design discussions, testing, and validation of healthcare applications
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure solutions meet clinical and business needs
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend scalable solutions
Assist in data mapping, integration efforts, and interoperability initiatives

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare domain
Strong experience in Utilization Management, Care Management, or Behavioral Health
Hands-on knowledge of FHIR, HL7, and healthcare data exchange standards
Solid understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations
Experience with requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
