Job DetailsJob Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team. This position is an integral part of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of our manufacturing equipment, systems, and processes, contributing to the overall performance and profitability of our operations. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement reliability plans that support increasing the uptime of our manufacturing operations.
- Use predictive and preventative maintenance practices to improve equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and operations teams to reduce unplanned downtime, optimize scheduled downtime, and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Lead reliability improvement initiatives and projects.
- Develop and maintain reliability metrics and reports for management.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on reliability best practices.
- Participate in the design and installation of new equipment and systems to ensure they meet reliability standards.
- Utilize SAP software for maintenance planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a reliability engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of reliability principles and practices.
- Proficient in the use of SAP software for maintenance management.
- Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to train and mentor others.
- Certified Reliability Professional (CRP) or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification is a plus.
